So, for the ‘world’s most expensive city’ Singapore, how much did this cost and how many did it feed?
For SG$25 (roughly US$20), six of us were filled.
This feast – a combination of curries with eggs, sweet and sour meat and fruit juices couldn’t be a better representation of the quirky Chinese-Malay-Indian intersection that Singapore is – and you can find it in a truly grungy hole-in-the-wall type place in the city’s Little India District where not even the walls are painted. And despite its location, it’s not necessarily the haven of the proletariat tradespeople – all types of people go here. Or at least all types of people that know of it.
